Welcome at Villa Rizki Candidasa!

This brand new (end of 2017) air-conditioned vacation villa offers a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom can accommodate up to 6 people, with a private pool and tropical garden. It comes with a large open seating area, a kitchen with large freezer / refrigerator, fiber optic free WiFi internet and a flat screen cable TV. The villa is in the Samuh area of Candidasa, the northern part of the village. Located in an authentic envoirement where you can meet the locals, their craft and culture.

Beach of Candidasa

The villa has a large living/kitchen area with a spacious master bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The 2 other guest rooms are also spacious, clean and comfortable. They are connected to the separate bathroom. Privacy for all our guests was part of the original design. All rooms overlook the garden and pool and have large French doors that are wide open most of the time. The garden itself has 5 coconut trees and is surrounded by many more coconut trees on all sides. Within the garden walls are many beautiful flower trees, including Bali’s famous Franchipani and Bougainvilleas.
Take a refreshing outdoor shower after sunbathing on the lawn and dry off in the gentle cooling sea breeze that usually comes from the south, as the Lombok Sea is only 150 meters away behind the palm and banana trees.

Swimming pool

Even with the beach nearby, the pool (45 sqm, 2mtr deep, 8-shaped) is the perfect place to get into the crystal clear -always the perfect temperature, heated by the Bali sun- water. For a refreshing, healthy exercise by day, or a romantic swim under the stars and palm trees by night, you’ll find the 8-shaped pool impossible to resist. The pool’s tiles are cut out of pure natural ‘Bali Green’, a famous granite that can only be found in Indonesia. Its special deep color and natural organic feel cannot be matched by any man made ceramics.
Once in the water, you’re surrounded by the colourful flowers in the tropical garden and the many palm trees. You can spy on the little birds picking in the grass or -if you’re quiet and lucky – spot a few monkeys on the wall or on the roof. It’s the ultimate tropical experience.There are three wide steps to sit on or to enter the water. The pool itself is 2 meters deep, designed for comfortable swimming rather than standing. Other than the wide steps, there’s no shallow end. To use the pool you’ll need to know how to swim, making it not suitable or even dangerous for young children who don’t or poor swimmers.
Some places in Bali can be quite hectic at times. But once you walk through the villa’s entrance all the craziness is going away.

The Staff:

The Villa Rizki staff will prepares breakfast for you every morning: coffee or tea will be ready as soon as you wake up. A plate with fresh fruits is part of our Balinese breakfast and you’ll be asked for your choice of eggs and toast, or maybe you prefer a delicious Balinese banana pancake (fresh banana’s grow in our back yard and until you’ve had one you never knew what banana’s taste like…). After breakfast the beds will be made, bathrooms will be cleaned and other housekeeping duties are performed. When finished -usually between 11 am and 12, the staff will go home and leave you in privacy for the rest of the day.

You can ask the staff to make a special dinner or lunch for you, or prepare that fresh fish you bought early in the morning from one of the fishermen on the beach.
Our villa manager is also a good guide for treks (ask him for all the info). The treks can include routes like to the Tirtagangga water palace and to the original Bali Aga Balinese villages of Tenganan Pegringisingan and vice versa. These tours traverse the hilly terrain and villages around the water palace and through green rice fields and forests, each with insightful highlights to reveal.

It is within an easy 60 minute ride to some nice sightseeing, rice paddies, shopping and scuba diving, and transport can be arranged by our staff, making sure you don’t have to rely on offers on the street. Trips can be easily arranged to suit your kind of activity and taste for adventure. Also, the area and its environs boast a variety of different sights to see. In any case, just ask our staff, they’ll be glad to help you find the best deals.

Balinese villa’s always have local staff to look after the villa and its guests. They take great pride in taking care of you, it’s your holiday after all.

Transfer:

We can arrange a pick-up from the airport to the villa for you. Our private driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall of the airport to take you safely and comfortably with an air-co MPV to the villa. And if you book for 7 days (or more) this is free!

For sightseeing tours, you can also use our private and dedicated driver. Most of our guests do. Arrangements can be made directly through our staff or through our help desk (also at short notice).  The use of our private air-conditioned MPV with driver is only RP 700,000 per day  (4-5 persons) including gasoline and the English private driver. The driver is also a great guide and can show you all the hot-spots and attractions of beautiful Bali. He is also available for cab services in case you want to store or dine!

Explore:

Compared to other busy tourist areas of Bali, Candidasa’s beaches are relatively small, but in the Samuh area you will find many pristine sandy beaches to enjoy. Snorkeling is very good, especially at low tide. There are also very good beach/snorkeling spots within 20 minutes of Candidasa, at Blue Lagoon, Padang Bai and Amed. Our absolute favorite: 5 km northeast of Candidasa is Pasir Putih (White Sand Beach), one of East Bali’s well-kept secrets. It is a 500 m long, isolated, beautiful, white sand beach lined with coconut trees. There are a few warungs (small stores) that rent sunbeds and umbrellas. Fishermen at the beach will be glad to take you out for a fishing or snorkling trip or sell you some fresh fish.

The villa is located in Samuh, the eastern part of Candidasa that is still a traditional farming and fishing community. Here you will find coconut and banana trees, small hidden family farms with a few pigs and chickens and fishermen on the beach. Fishing is still done daily and you will see many small boats leaving or returning to the beaches daily. Further inland, many small farmers still live in the coconut grove behind the village, raising chickens and a few pigs and harvesting fruit, bananas and coconuts. The local traditional Hindu population is friendly, trustworthy and lives by the rules of Karma. The overall atmosphere is slow and easy. The weather is a bit cooler than Sanur, with highs around 29 – 31C and lows near 24C at night, with sun most every day.
