Listen to the surf roll in from oceanfront living areas with a outdoor pool and a rows of loungers in the sun, Or get reading and relaxing in your shaded gazebo. Behind you are the lush, gated grounds; in front, vistas stretching to the neighboring island of Java. In the huge tropical garden of 1600 sqm you’ll find tall palm- and coconut trees, fruit trees and frangipani in all colours.

Villa Saffraan is located a few hundred meters from the main road and is reached by a partly private road shared with some other villas and is tucked between two original small fishing villages that still live largely from fishing. You will see the fishing boats going and coming. Buy your own fish for dinner and the staff will prepare it for you! The villa staff will prepare all meals for you, or if you want to cook for yourself, the kitchen is fully equipped.

The interior of the villa is as luxurious and elegant as the exterior. The inside of the property has neutral colors on the walls, ceilings and floors, and decorative accents inspired by the tropics. The separation between inside and outside is largely blurred thanks to the large windows that allow air and light to flow in. The villa has an open-plan living and dining area that extends from inside to outside. The large covered terraces offer generous 8 person seating at the dining table or lounge area, continuing the convivial vibe. The cool sea breeze fills the living area. You will be full of dreams in your air-conditioned bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and king-size beds with very good mattresses.

The 1600 sqm tropical garden has a large private pool (70 sqm) and a children’s pool (12 sqm). Around the pools you will find 6 sunbeds with parasols. In the garden you will find tall palm trees, fruit trees and frangipani in all colors.
The lawn is ideal for a game of soccer or badminton, and for those who mainly want to lounge: a wonderful place is the so-called Bale Bengong (Gazebo), a small house that is open on all sides and directly adjacent to the beach. In the morning you can see the fishermen in their brightly colored boats with their catch of the day (you can buy it on the spot! Our staff can prepare your fresh fish!). In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful sunset.

The villa, garden and swimming pool are located on a private plot of 1600 sqm and is not shared with other tenants. The house is fully furnished; towels, pool towels are provided and your staff will change the beds with clean sheets. The kitchen is complete with large refrigerator, a water tank with chilled water, toaster, filter coffee maker and a blender. There is an LCD flat screen television with USB interface and Cable TV with international and children’s channels.

And free use of 2 canoes, for the most breathtaking sunset on the Bali Sea!

The staff:

Ceremonie

The staff team of Villa Saffraan exists of nice and kind people. As guest you have private staff for the villa. There is a private security guard who watch over the villa at night, a gardener/pool-man and a housekeeper who is also a great cook. She can cook both Indonesian and some western food. The staff have humour and do their very best to make you feel good so you can have an unforgettable stay. The private staff works six days a week, +-8 hours a day (except security: 7 days).

Service of the staff is included in the rental rate of Villa Saffraan, also the cooking of all meals is included, only the groceries for the food are for your own account. For your convenience, the staff can do all the groceries: you need to give them money in advance to go to the local market. Afterwards they will provide you with receipts. The staff will only charge you a small fee for the transportation (petrol) costs. Prices for food are affordable, the cost of living is still lower in this northern part of Bali.
