Villa Udara is a heavenly place offering accommodation to six guests. The location – in the authentic Balinese village Kalibukbuk which is a part of Lovina – is perfect for lovers of authenticity, local life and nature. The center and the beach of Lovina are within walking distance of the villa.
The villa (210 sqm) is situated on a property of 550 sqm and consists of a living room with and open space kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. As this little paradise -just opened in May 2015- is located excellently in the back of the village, it is an ideal holiday home for guests looking for privacy, authenticity and peace, whilst staying within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The meaning of Udara in Indonesian is “air” and is also used for “breeze”. We chose the name Villa Udara during the ceremony for the “foundation stone”, when we were surprised by a very welcome breeze of fresh air. Udara is also a genus of butterflies; the species are found in the Indomalaya Ecozone, of which Bali belongs to.
The villa is totally private and has a fully equipped kitchen, with a microwave, blender, rice cooker, coffee maker, toaster, plates, glasses, dining table, refrigerator. But because the staff can cook you delicious meals it’s not necessary to cook yourself. But of course you can, and the staff is more than willing to help you and do the groceries.
Furthermore we have 3 bedrooms with king size beds, airco and mosquito nets around the beds. Attached you find at every bedroom large wardrobes and a private bathroom with shower, toilet, towels and toilet gears. Every bedroom has it’s own safe deposit box and for the little ones we have a baby-cot and baby-chair available.
In the garden you find your private pool, 6 sunbeds, a Bale Benong for relaxing, reading or enjoy a massage. In the evening you can dine outside under the frangipani tree, with candlelight makes it a very romantic place. So also for lovers, honeymooners and if you have something to celebrate the villa is the place to stay.
If you want to enjoy paradise Bali this is the place you want to stay. Close to the hustle, but private and quite enough to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Villa Udara is totally private, as a guest you have access to everything this luxury villa has to offer.

You will be surprised by this authentic part of Bali, more and more people are discovering the still pristine, unspoiled and authentic north coast!
The best way to get around on Bali is with your own transport, whether you drive your selves, hire a driver, a moped or ride a bike. This gives you the flexibility to explore and allows you to reach many places that are otherwise inaccessible.
Dolphin watching tours at Lovina Beach remain one of the main nature attractions of this quiet and laid back coastal town in North Bali. What this black sand beach lacks in features when compared to the beaches around the island’s south, it makes up for with its frequent sightings of dolphin pods that favour these calm waters. Back in the days, every sunrise, local fishermen in traditional outriggers set out for their daily catches in the bay, and so did the dolphins.
This unique kinship between humans and dolphins developed over time – hunting pods led local fishermen to where schools of sardines and mackerels, and likewise, dolphins joined in for a frenzy following the cast nets. Occasionally, the cetaceans would breach the surface to check out on the action above. Fishermen now regularly take visitors for a dolphin watching ride to see their aquatic friends from.
