Villa Ambalama, Canggu, Bali:

Enjoy a pamperful vacation in this spectacular 5 bedroom luxury Villa Ambalama in Canggu, just 20 minutes drive from Seminyak and only 50 meters from Cemagi beach. Villa Ambalama is an impressive large estate, consisting of a duplex ‘Master’ villa of more than 170 square meters with its own swimming pool and 4 luxurious guest houses, each with its own private terrace and a main two-story pavilion for living and dining that opens onto a terrace with a 25-meter infinity pool. The table in the dining room seats 16. There is also a conference room, ideal for business off-site meetings. WIFI is available throughout the villa and we have large televisions in the living pavilion and the master villa. We also offer an iPhone/iPod music system for those guests who want to bring their music with them.

Unwind and relax in the large living pavilion reached by an outside tiered staircase – or if its raining by the specially designed interior spiral staircase. The pavilion has 360 degree views of the ocean on one side and paddy and mountains to the north. Experience wonderful sunsets on your balcony. Below is a large dining area which faces onto the main swimming pool and bale. For those who prefer the informality of the kitchen we have an island dry kitchen looking onto the pool and garden. It is  a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and wine fridge.

Villa Ambalama features two swimming pools. The main 25-metre swimming pool is located next to the main pavilion. The poolside deck offers ten sunbeds and a covered bale, which works as a second living room with comfy rattan furniture. The second swimming pool is connected to the master bedroom. This pool is flanked by a private sundeck and a covered poolside bale. The gardens include tranquil lily ponds and a striking wall of water bamboo sprouts built into a second staircase connecting to the main pavilion’s upper level.

Main Villa:

The main villa has one master bedroom and 1 guestroom.The master villa is a duplex with a huge lower, split level living area with pantry connected to a spacious bedroom by a stylish spiral staircase. The master villa is completely private and has its own 9 mtr long infinity swimming pool and sun deck. Superb views can be enjoyed from the balcony including Bali’s renowned sunsets over the ocean.

Guest houses:

Villa Ambalama has four guest houses, each with a spacious bedroom that overlooks a private wooden terrace with water feature. The bathrooms are luxuriously appointed with an outdoor shower and a covered bathtub/shower with plenty of storage space. Each bedroom has a large daybed for relaxation that can also serve as an extra bed ideal for children. There are 3 king size bed guesthouses and one twin bed guesthouse.

Childcare & Kid’s Pool:

Traveling as a family? Our staff can help look after your kids, while our children’s pool is the perfect place for them to have fun without you having to worry about their safety.

All villas have air conditioning, ceiling fans and a safe. Experience wonderful nights of sleep in our four poster beds with mosquito nets and freshly laundered linen.

Staff:

Open the gates of this holiday house and the staff will greet you with drinks and smiles. Villa Ambalama is fully staffed with a chef exclusively for you, ready to prepare a wide range of local or international dishes, served by our courteous staff wherever and whenever you want it. The chef Indonesian cooking is excellent and authentic, let him surprise you with traditional Balinese dishes. But he can prepare also a wide range of Western-style dishes. There is a villa menu but please do ask for your favorites too!

Our staff will take care of the grocery shopping (local prices plus surcharge) based on the menu requests and your meals will be prepared and served to you at a time you preferred. We believe it is important to work with local products and ingredients. Thus, the fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs of the season are purchased daily at the local market. Pure, fresh and honest! Guests can also enjoy other nice restaurants located nearby the resort.

Service:

Have the service of a luxury hotel, while enjoying total privacy. Our full staff will cater to your every need, from cleaning, to serving you drinks by the pool, to helping plan local activities. The villa can provide soft drinks, excellent local Bintang beer and a selection of wines. We do have a limited supply of alcoholic beverages provided at cost plus an administrative charge. Of course you may bring your own beverages to the villa without charge.

All service of the staff is included: private chef, villa attendants, gardeners, pool attendant, technician and night security.

In-house Massage & Yoga:

Relax with a traditional massage in your villa or re-energize with a private yoga session by the pool. Choose from a traditional Bali full body massage to head or foot massage, or a spa treatment including facials, manicure and pedicure. The perfect way to unwind after a beach day.

Wedding and events:

Villa Ambalama, perfect as a wedding or private event venue with expansive common spaces, enchanting water features, spectacular views and staff service. We want Villa Ambalama to be a blank canvas that a bride and groom can customize for their big day. The villa is popular for weddings, be they small and intimate or larger up to 150 pax, family reunions and honeymoons, but we also frequently accommodate off site meetings and wellness groups.

Each wedding is bespoke and we work with your or our external vendors to bring the best to the occasion. We can offer in-villa catering packages for up to approx 45 pax, we have a Pondok Wisata which means we can offer a bar/drinks package too. We would highly recommend using a local wedding planner and are happy to put you in touch with one that is experienced with Villa Ambalama as well as local vendors.

Sustainability:

Sustainability measures include the capture of rainwater for the watering of the lily and lotus ponds , a policy of no single use plastics and recycling. More than 150 plant and tree species were chosen to beautify the 5900 sqm garden and surroundings. We have teamed up with a local company to compost our food and garden waste; by selective planting we encourage native birds and insects to make our garden their home; we reduce our power consumption through extensive use of LED lighting: our bespoke soaps and jells are environmentally friendly.

Dip in the infinity pool or alfresco tub, treat yourself to a massage, and stroll just 50 meters to the beach.

Transfer:

We recommend you allow us to arrange airport transfers since the drivers are familiar with the villa location and we have the flexibility to provide the size of the van/car required. Transport for whilst you stay can be easily arranged – we have a new luxurious villa car and dedicated driver available exclusively for guests at very reasonable rates. Rental per day, including driver and petrol is quite economical and varies depending on size and type of vehicle.

Return airport transfers included for guests arriving / departing on the same flight.
