The view from the infinity pool of 70 sqm(!) and whirlpool is incredible: the famous rice fields (sawas) are scattered in front of you to be admired!

We offer all our guests a free first meal and – for stays of 5 nights or more – a free pick-up from the airport! Easy and comfortable!

Luxury 6-Bedroom Villa Rumah Sungai, Ubud, Bali:

Villa Rumah Sungai is located at the main street of a small village (Singapadu Kaler, one of the 14 Ubud villages). The villa, garden and pool are located on a fenced property of 2600 sqm. The house is fully furnished; Towels, pool towels and sheets are provided. The kitchen is complete with large fridge, a water tank with chilled water, toaster, Nespresso and a filter/bean coffee machine and a blender. In the living room you will find a LCD flat screen television with USB interface and Cable TV with international and kids channels. The villa is completely private and guests have access to all this privacy and luxury the villa has to offer. You have nothing to share and are free to set your own time to have breakfast or other meals!

Bedrooms:

On the ground floor of Villa Rumah Sungai there are two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have king size beds. On the first floor there are also two large bedrooms with king size beds and one comfortable sofa bed which give the opportunity to host in total 14 persons. All bedrooms have their own air conditioning and attached bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a so called ‘open’ bathroom where you can have a bath or shower with the stars or sun above you! Above the entrance of the villa there are also 2 bedrooms, sharing one bathroom.

Also on the ground floor of this majestic villa you will find a large living room with a sitting area and a dining table with 8 chair’s. There is a flat screen TV with over 200 international channels. There is also a JBL portable speaker, a cozy dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. For babies there is a high chair and crib available.

Billiard house:

In the huge tropical garden of 2600 sqm you will find an infinity pool and a refreshing whirlpool. There is also an indoor billiard house, which houses a game of pool and dartboard.

The Staff

Included in the rental of the villa you will have full service from our friendly staff. For example, there are 2 great housekeepers/cooks, a gardener, a pool man and a help desk/driver (who is available for day trips or cab services (surcharge)).

The staff team at Villa Rumah Sungai consists of nice and friendly people. As a guest, you have private staff for the villa. There is a gardener/pool man, a freelance driver and two housekeepers who are also great cooks. They can cook both Indonesian and some western food. The staff has a sense of humor and goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable so you have a memorable stay. The private staff works six days a week, 8 hours a day. The staff costs are included in the rent, also the cooking of all meals is included, only the groceries for the food are at your own expense. As a guest, we offer you the first meal for free (including ingredients). So you can start relaxing right after your arrival!

For your convenience, the staff can do all the shopping. You should give them money in advance to go to the local market. Afterwards, they will provide you with receipts. The staff will only charge you a small fee for transportation costs (gasoline). You will enjoy a carefree vacation in this beautiful tropical villa with extremely friendly and hospitable staff!

220 restaurants:

There are 220 restaurants in Ubud, many guests choose to eat out as there is plenty of choice, even within walking distance of the house. You can ask the staff to make reservations or arrange cab services. Large and small supermarkets with fresh bread, fruit, sandwich fillings, etc can be reached by scooter or car within 1-8 minutes, of course the staff can also provide this.

After booking, we will send you a welcome letter with all the details of the villa. In the villa you will find brochures and more tourist information. During your stay you can always contact the helpdesk or the staff for all your questions.

You have nothing to share and are free to set your own time to have breakfast or other meals!

Transfer:

The best way to get around Bali is with your own transportation, whether you drive yourself, hire a driver, take a moped or ride a (mountain) bike. This gives you the flexibility to explore and allows you to reach many places that are otherwise inaccessible.

We can arrange a pick-up from the airport (or from anywhere in Bali) to the villa for you. Our private driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall of the airport to take you safely and comfortably with an air-co MPV to the villa. And if you book for 5 days (or more) this is free!

For sightseeing tours, you can also use our private and dedicated driver. Most of our guests do. Arrangements can be made directly through our staff or through our help desk (also at short notice).  The use of our private air-conditioned MPV with driver is only RP 750,000 per day including gasoline and the English private driver. The driver is also a great guide and can show you all the hot-spots and attractions of beautiful Bali. He is also available for cab services in case you want to store or dine!
