Holiday Villa Wana, Seririt, Bali:

Villa Wana offers you a daily Western or Asian breakfast for free, complete 100% privacy and has everything needed for a fantastic, carefree vacation. Many guests have described it as a villa with a unique, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It is elegantly designed and decorated in complete harmony with the surrounding lush, green Balinese nature.

It has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own open-air bathroom. Each room opens onto a large veranda with stunning views of mountains, tropical jungle, dormant volcanoes and the Bali Sea. A large wooden dining table with eight chairs forms the center of the veranda. On the veranda you will also find separate lounges and comfortable chairs and sofas. Here you can enjoy the view, have a drink or enjoy the local dishes prepared by our cook.

In the evening you can watch the sunset over the mountains, which is often a spectacular display of colors, and listen to typical Asian sounds of crickets and geckos. You will certainly appreciate the fresh mountain breeze in the evening.

When the sky is clear, which is often, you can see volcanoes on the island of Java about 65 miles away!

Garden:

The large tropical garden at Villa Wana is truly beautiful, very much alive with coconut palms and beautifully shaped old mango trees. There is an abundance of Balinese plants and flowers and it is a perfect place to spot many local species such as birds, butterflies and squirrels. Being in this garden is a nature experience in itself. Our gardener is happy to pick mangoes, coconuts or a sour from the garden for you to enjoy.

In the lower part of the garden you will find a large swimming pool and a sunny terrace with sun loungers. A smaller, shallower pool with seating around the edges is connected to the main pool. Take a seat in this pool and have a drink while watching the sun go down. This pool can also be used as a children’s pool.

A full BBQ set is available for free in Villa Wana.

The garden has many shady spots, provided by the mango trees, but also many sunny spots for sunbathing. There are several separate private sitting areas. One of these areas is a beautiful traditional Balinese gazebo with beautiful carvings. There is a separate terrace for barbecuing. A full BBQ set is available free of charge. Many of our guests have enjoyed sitting around a campfire in the evenings by the large fire pit. When the sky is clear, which is often, you can see the volcanoes on the island of Java about 40 km (60 miles) away.

Mountain spring:

The villa is located on a hillside at an altitude of about 200 meters. The climate at this altitude is much more pleasant than at sea level, especially in the evening and at night. The location of the villa in relation to the wind and the design ensure that a breeze blows through the house which contributes to the pleasant temperature.

A special and unique plus of this villa is that the water from all taps is safe to drink. The villa’s water comes from an underground mountain spring. It is regularly tested by the government and has always been proven safe. It is completely pollution free and tastes great.

The staff:

The team at Villa Wana consists of nice and friendly people. As a guest, you have private staff for the villa. There is a private security guard who watches over the villa at night, a gardener/pool man and a housekeeper. There is a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own food or have our staff cook for you. An experienced chef is available on call to prepare delicious local dishes. You only pay for the ingredients yourself. A menu is available and will sent to you in our welcome letter with all the details of the villa. Staff service is included in the rental price of Villa Wana.

Groceries are at your own expense. For your convenience, the staff can do all the shopping for you: you need to give them money in advance to go to the local market. Afterwards, they will provide you with receipts. The staff will only charge you a small fee for transportation costs (gasoline). Food prices are affordable, the cost of living is still lower in this northern part of Bali.

After booking we will send you a welcome letter with all the details of the villa (and other ‘good to know’ information) and an information guide of Bali with more background of the villa, the service of the staff and nice suggestions to do and see in the area. In the villa you will find more brochures and information.
